Trucks using I-95 Toll Plaza in Delaware

DelDOT is currently working on minor signing and striping improvements for the I-95 Newark Toll Plaza. These modification are in anticipation of the 2010 project to incorporate Highway Speed EZ Pass lanes through the facility in both northbound and southbound directions.

For trucks coming from Maryland into Delaware, with the current lane configurations, trucks with EZ Pass are encouraged to stay to the left as they approach the plaza and utilize the EZ Pass lanes at the main plaza. Trucks with EZ Pass do not need to utilize the satellite plaza (unless they are permit vehicles).

New I-95 Traffic Patterns and Ramp Openings at I-695 and I-895 Interchanges

The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) continues to reach milestones in the construction of the I-95 Express Toll Lanes (ETLsSM) Project. Between September 2008 and January 2009, several general-purpose ramps and roadways were completed and related traffic patterns were implemented. Improvements were made at both the I-895 and I-695 interchanges.
